Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:- A Yahoo account
- An active Yahoo Fantasy Basketball league (H2H Categories scoring)
- Access to the Fantasy Basketball Analytics platform
Get Started in 3 Steps
Login with Yahoo
Navigate to the platform and click the login button. You’ll be redirected to Yahoo’s secure OAuth login page.After authorizing the application, you’ll be redirected back to the league selection page.
The platform uses Yahoo’s official OAuth 2.0 authentication, so your credentials are never stored by the application.
Select Your League
Choose your fantasy basketball league from the list of available leagues.The platform will display:
- League season (most recent first)
- Your team name
- League type (filtered to H2H Categories only)
Navigate the Dashboard
Once you’ve selected your league, you’ll be taken to the analytics dashboard. The dashboard features multiple tabs:
- Category Strengths: View weekly team comparisons and category rankings
- Compare Teams: Analyze season-long performance across all teams
- Trends: Track your team’s statistical progression over time
- Player Contributions: See individual player impacts on your team stats
- Trade Analyzer: Evaluate potential trades with comprehensive analysis
- Draft: View keeper information and draft planning tools
First Actions
Once you’re logged in and viewing the dashboard, here are some recommended first steps:View Your Category Strengths
Analyze your rankings
Review how your team ranks in each statistical category compared to every other team in the league. Categories include:
- Points (PTS)
- Rebounds (REB)
- Assists (AST)
- Steals (STL)
- Blocks (BLK)
- 3-Pointers Made (3PTM)
- Field Goal % (FG%)
- Free Throw % (FT%)
- Turnovers (TO)
- Double-Doubles (DD)
Compare Teams
Navigate to the Compare Teams tab to view season-long statistics:- Toggle between “Season Totals” and “Weekly Averages”
- Switch between table view and card view based on your device
- See your team highlighted and ranked against all opponents
- Review the analysis summary to understand your competitive position
Evaluate a Trade
Add players you're trading away
Use the search box under “Trading Away” to find and add players from your roster.
Add players you're acquiring
Use the search box under “Acquiring” to find and add NBA players you want to trade for.
The player search includes all active NBA players with current season statistics.
