Overview

Iquea Commerce provides an intuitive shopping experience with featured collections, category browsing, and powerful search capabilities. This guide walks you through discovering and viewing products.

Browsing the Product Catalog

The product catalog is accessible from the main navigation and displays all available furniture items.

Access the Product Catalog

Navigate to Products from the main menu or click “Ver todos los productos” from the homepage.

View Product Grid

Products are displayed in a grid layout showing:
  • Product image
  • Product name
  • Category label
  • Price in euros (€)
  • Star rating

Check Product Count

The total number of available products is displayed at the top of the catalog: “X productos”
The homepage showcases a curated Featured Collection (“Colección Destacada”) with up to 6 highlighted items.
  • Featured products are marked with es_destacado: true in the system
  • The API endpoint /api/productos/destacados returns these special items
  • Featured items may display promotional badges (e.g., “-30%”)
Featured products represent hand-selected pieces that define contemporary elegance and are crafted with quality materials and timeless design.
The featured section includes:
  • Hero Image: Large banner with the new 2025 collection
  • Product Cards: Visual grid of 6 selected products
  • Ratings: Star ratings (4-5 stars) displayed for each item
  • Quick Access: Direct links to product detail pages

Searching and Filtering Products

Search Functionality

You can search for products by name using the search feature:

Enter Search Query

Type your search term in the search bar (e.g., “Sofá”, “Mesa”, “Lámpara”)

View Results

The page header will show: “Resultados para ‘[your query]’”

Clear Search

Remove the search query to return to the full catalog

Filter by Category

Narrow down products using the category sidebar:

Open Category Filter

View the “Categorías” section in the left sidebar

Select a Category

Click on any category button:
  • Todas - Show all products
  • Salón - Living room furniture
  • Comedor - Dining room furniture
  • Dormitorio - Bedroom furniture
  • Iluminación - Lighting
  • Mesas - Tables

Active Category Highlight

The selected category button will be highlighted as active

Filter by Price Range

Refine your search by setting minimum and maximum price limits:

Locate Price Filter

Find the “Precio (€)” section in the left sidebar

Set Minimum Price

Enter your minimum price in the Min input field

Set Maximum Price

Enter your maximum price in the Max input field (default: 10000€)

View Filtered Results

Products automatically update to show only items within your price range
Filters work together - you can combine category and price filters to narrow your search further.

Clear All Filters

If no products match your criteria:
  1. A message appears: “No se encontraron productos que coincidan con tu búsqueda”
  2. Click “Limpiar filtros” to reset all filters
  3. This clears category selection, price range, and search query

Viewing Product Details

Click on any product card to view comprehensive product information:

Select any product from the catalog or featured section

View Product Information

The detail page displays:
  • Large product image
  • Product name and category
  • Current price with currency
  • Full product description
  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
  • Dimensions (height × width × depth in cm)
  • Stock availability (number of units)

Check Stock Status

Product availability is clearly indicated:
  • “X unidades” - Available stock count
  • “Agotado” - Out of stock (shown in red)

Product Detail Components

Product Metadata

Each product page shows structured information:
  • SKU: Unique product identifier
  • Dimensiones: Physical dimensions for furniture sizing
  • Stock: Real-time inventory count

Product Images

High-quality product images are displayed prominently. If no image is available, a placeholder is shown.

Pricing Information

Prices are displayed with:
  • Large, clear price amount
  • Currency symbol (€ for euros)
  • Formatted with two decimal places
You must be logged in to add products to your cart. Guest users will see a prompt to “Iniciar Sesión para Comprar”.

  • The product count updates dynamically as you filter
