All OWASP Nest leaders are certified ISC² professionals, OWASP members, and adhere to the OWASP Code of Conduct.

Arkadii Yakovets

Certifications:
  • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
Role: Project Leader and FounderArkadii is an OWASP Nest founder and current leader focusing on project strategic goals as well as day-to-day contribution and maintenance, ensuring the project aligns with OWASP community needs. An experienced software development professional with over 10 years of expertise in Python, Django, and backend technologies.

Kate Golovanova

Certifications:
  • CC (Certified in Cybersecurity)
Role: Project Co-LeaderKate is OWASP Nest Project Leader who enjoys mentoring open source contributions focused on full-stack features implementation. She wrote the initial OWASP Nest frontend that was later migrated to Next.js and React, bringing invaluable frontend and project management skills to the project.

Starr Brown

Certifications:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
Role: Project Co-LeaderStarr is a co-leader who contributed to the project’s well-structured system design through discussions with the founder, ensuring alignment with OWASP’s ecosystem from the project’s inception.
