What is SlugShare?

SlugShare is a community-driven platform that helps UCSC students share dining hall points with each other. Whether you have extra points at the end of the quarter or need help getting a meal, SlugShare connects students to support one another.
SlugShare is built by students, for students. All transactions happen peer-to-peer within the UCSC community.

How It Works

SlugShare makes point sharing simple and transparent:
  1. Create a Request - Post a request for dining points at any UCSC dining location
  2. Browse Requests - See what your fellow Slugs need help with
  3. Accept & Donate - Help someone out by accepting their request
  4. Track Your Balance - Keep your points updated to stay in control
All dining halls automatically calculate the correct meal swipe cost based on the current meal period (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night).
