Overview
The [hotkey] section allows you to configure keyboard shortcuts that execute either Halo scripts OR Chimera commands. This provides quick access to frequently used functionality.
Enable Hotkeys
Enable hotkey support. Must be set to 1 for hotkeys to work.
Hotkey Types
Chimera supports four categories of hotkeys:
- Function Keys (
F1 - F12)
- Alt+Shift+Number (
Alt+Shift+0-9 and numpad)
- Alt+Number (
Alt+0-9 and numpad)
- Ctrl+Number (
Ctrl+0-9 and numpad)
- Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Number (
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+0-9 and numpad)
Function Keys
Map F1 through F12 to commands or scripts.
Command or script to execute when F1 is pressed.
Command or script to execute when F2 is pressed.
Command or script to execute when F3 is pressed.
Command or script to execute when F4 is pressed.

Default bindings for spectator mode and debug camera.

Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Number (Advanced)
Default bindings for advanced functionality.

Block currently held weapon (useful in games where you hold 3+ weapons).

Unblock all weapons.
Abort current cutscene. Useful for maps with annoying startup cutscenes.

Tips
Leave hotkeys empty to disable them. An empty value means the key does nothing: Use numpad versions if you want different behavior for number row vs numpad:alt_1=chimera_bookmark_connect 1

The example alt_f4=chimera_aimbot 1 in the default ini is commented out. Do not enable cheats on multiplayer servers - you will be banned.
