Requirements
Before installing AnkiDroid Companion, ensure your device meets the following requirements:- Android Version: Android 8.0 (API level 26) or higher

Installation Steps
Enable installation from unknown sources
Since the app is not on the Play Store, you’ll need to enable installation from unknown sources:
- Open your device’s Settings
- Navigate to Security or Privacy
- Enable Install unknown apps for your browser or file manager
Install the APK
- Open the downloaded APK file from your notifications or file manager
- Tap Install when prompted
- Wait for the installation to complete
- Tap Open to launch the app, or Done to finish
If you encounter any issues during installation, ensure that AnkiDroid is properly installed and working on your device first.
Version Compatibility
AnkiDroid Companion is built using AnkiDroid API version v2.17alpha8. The app should work with:- AnkiDroid v2.17+: Full compatibility
- Earlier versions: May work but not officially tested
