Investigations are the heart of Ghost Planet. Each investigation includes:

Audio recordings

Record ambient sounds, investigator notes, and potential EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena).

All evidence requires a valid location association and respects the investigation’s visibility settings.

Locations

Locations form a shared knowledge base of investigated sites: Location information includes:
  • Name and full address
  • GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude)
  • Historical lore and background stories
  • Past investigation records
  • Popularity metrics
  • Public or private visibility
Coordinate validation:
  • Latitude must be between -90 and 90
  • Longitude must be between -180 and 180
Contribute verified locations to the community database to help other investigators discover new sites.
