The Slack integration sends compliance event notifications directly to channels in your Slack workspace. When a task is assigned, an evidence request comes in, or a document needs approval, the right people get notified in Slack without needing to check Probo manually.

What Probo notifies about

  • Task assignments — when a compliance task is assigned to a team member
  • Evidence requests — when evidence is requested for a measure or control
  • Document approvals — when a document version is submitted for approval or has been approved

Setting up the Slack integration

1

Open integration settings

In Probo, navigate to Settings → Integrations → Slack.
2

Start the OAuth flow

Click Connect to Slack. You will be redirected to Slack’s authorization page.
3

Authorize Probo

Select the Slack workspace you want to connect and click Allow. Probo requests only the permissions it needs to post messages to channels.
4

Select notification channels

After authorization, return to the Probo settings page and choose which Slack channel should receive each type of notification.
5

Save

Click Save to activate the integration. Probo will send a test message to confirm the connection is working.
You need to be a Slack workspace admin (or have permission to install apps) to complete the OAuth flow.

Disconnecting Slack

To remove the Slack integration:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. Confirm the removal.
Probo will immediately stop sending notifications to Slack. If you want to revoke Probo’s access from the Slack side as well, go to your Slack workspace settings under Apps and remove Probo from there.

Build custom workflows that react to Probo events using n8n.
