Why Choose Helium?

Helium removes all Google services and tracking mechanisms from Chromium. No analytics, no crash reporting, no background connections to Google servers. Your privacy is protected by default, not as an opt-in feature.
Standing on the shoulders of giants, Helium leverages the ungoogled-chromium project to provide a solid, de-Googled foundation. This means you get all the performance and web compatibility of Chromium without the privacy concerns.
All Helium code is open source under GPL-3.0. You can inspect, modify, and contribute to the browser. Platform-specific packaging is also fully open source:
Helium doesn’t come with unnecessary features, bundled services, or promotional content. It’s a browser, not a platform. Clean, simple, and respectful of your system resources.

Current Version

Helium is built on Chromium 145.0.7632.116, ensuring modern web standards support and security updates.
Helium is currently in beta. While we work hard to ensure stability, unexpected issues may occur. We are not responsible for any damage caused by usage of beta software.
