Quickstart
This guide will walk you through setting up PlanningSup and viewing your first calendar.Access PlanningSup
You can use PlanningSup in three ways:- Web app
- Browser extension
- PWA (recommended)
Visit planningsup.app in your browser. No installation required.
Select your planning
When you first open PlanningSup, you’ll see the welcome screen:Select one or more plannings
Click the checkbox next to your planning. You can select multiple plannings to merge them into a single calendar view.
Multi-planning is useful for students with options across multiple groups
Navigate your calendar
Once your planning is loaded, you can:Previous periodPress

→ or click the right arrow in the calendar controlsChange viewSwitch between Day / Week / Month Grid / Month Agenda views
Go to todayClick “Aujourd’hui” (Today) to jump to the current date
The calendar automatically refreshes:
- On page load
- When the window regains focus
- Every 5 minutes in the background
View event details
Click any event in your calendar to see:- Event title and type (lecture, lab, tutorial)
- Start and end times
- Location (room or building)
- Teacher name (if available)
- Additional notes
Optional: Sign in for sync
By default, your planning selection and preferences are stored locally in your browser. To sync them across devices:
Once signed in, your settings will sync automatically:
- Selected plannings
- Custom colors
- Event blocklist
- Custom planning groups
- UI preferences (show weekends, merge duplicates, etc.)
