Installation methods
Download from TestFlight
Stratiles is currently available through Apple’s TestFlight beta testing program.
- Install the TestFlight app from the App Store if you don’t already have it
- Get the TestFlight invitation link for Stratiles
- Open the link on your iOS device
- Tap “Accept” to join the beta
- Tap “Install” to download Stratiles
TestFlight builds expire after 90 days. You’ll receive notifications when new builds are available.
First launch
When you first open Stratiles, you’ll see a welcome screen with a preview heatmap and the app name. The interface is designed with a dark theme and uses Strava’s signature orange color for accents.Stratiles requires authentication with your Strava account to function. You’ll be prompted to connect your account on first launch.
Verify installation
After installing Stratiles, you should see:- The Stratiles app icon on your Home Screen
- A dark-themed interface when you open the app
- A “Connect with Strava” button on the login screen
- A privacy notice stating “We only read your activity data. Nothing is stored on our servers.”

Troubleshooting
App won’t install
- Ensure you’re running iOS 17.0 or later
- Check that you have enough storage space on your device
- Try restarting your device and attempting installation again
TestFlight link doesn’t work
- Make sure you have the TestFlight app installed
- Check that the invitation link hasn’t expired
- Contact the developer for a fresh invitation link
App crashes on launch
- Force quit the app and relaunch it
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app from TestFlight
- Report the issue to the developer with details about your device model and iOS version
