Simpsonize Me! accepts a variety of common image formats to make uploading your photos as convenient as possible. You can simply drag and drop your image or browse to select it from your device.

Supported formats

You can upload photos in any of the following formats:
  • JPG/JPEG - The most common image format, widely supported across all devices
  • PNG - Great for images that require transparency, though the background will be processed
  • WebP - Modern image format offering excellent compression and quality
  • HEIC - Apple’s High Efficiency Image format, commonly used on iOS devices
All supported formats are processed with the same high-quality AI transformation, so choose whichever format is most convenient for you.

File size limit

The maximum file size for uploads is 15MB. This limit ensures:
  • Fast upload times for a smooth experience
  • Quick processing by our AI Simpsons generator
  • Efficient handling of high-resolution photos
Most smartphone photos are well under the 15MB limit. If you’re uploading a professional photo or high-resolution image, check the file size before uploading.

While our AI can work with various image qualities, better input photos produce better results:
  • Use clear, well-lit photos for the best transformation
  • Avoid heavily compressed or low-resolution images
  • Make sure faces are clearly visible and in focus
The better the input photo, the better your AI yellow portrait will be. Our AI Simpsonizer analyzes facial features in detail, so clarity is key.

Photo types we accept

Our AI Simpsonizer handles various types of photos:
  • Selfies - Perfect for individual portraits
  • Group shots - Transform multiple people at once
  • Family portraits - Create your own Simpson family portrait

For group photos, make sure all faces are clearly visible and not obscured. This helps our AI create the best possible Simpsonized portraits for everyone in the image.

Technical specifications

For optimal results, we recommend:
  • Resolution: At least 500x500 pixels per face
  • Format: JPG or PNG for maximum compatibility
  • File size: 1-10MB for the best balance of quality and upload speed
  • Aspect ratio: Any aspect ratio works, but square or portrait orientations often work best

What happens after upload

Once you upload your photo:
  1. Our system validates the file format and size
  2. The image is securely processed by our AI Simpsons generator
  3. Your photo is analyzed to identify facial features and characteristics
  4. The AI creates 5 unique Simpsonized variations
  5. High-resolution digital images are prepared for download
All uploads are processed securely using industry-standard encryption. Your photos are used solely for creating your Simpsonized portraits.
