Game commands allow you to check the status of various game servers and start Discord’s built-in activities in voice channels.

Counter-Strike: Source server

Check the status of Counter-Strike: Source servers.

Syntax

/css ip:<ip_address>[:port]

Parameters

ip

Server IP address with optional port (defaults to 27015 if not specified)

Select from a list of pre-configured CS:S servers

Examples

/css ip:192.168.1.1:27015

Displayed information

  • Server name
  • Current map
  • Player count (including bot count)
  • Server address with clickable ClientMod link
  • Visibility (Public or Password Protected)
  • Server type (Dedicated, Non-Dedicated, or Source TV)
  • GameTracker link for detailed stats
  • Player list with scores (for saved servers when players are online)
The ClientMod link (clientmod://connect/...) only works if you have ClientMod installed for CS:S.

Requirements

  • Server must be running Counter-Strike: Source (App ID 240)
  • Server must be online and accessible
  • Port defaults to 27015 if not specified

Minecraft server

Check the status of Minecraft servers.

Syntax

/minecraft ip:<server_ip>[:port]

Parameters

Displayed information

  • Server MOTD (Message of the Day)
  • Online status
  • Current player count / Maximum players
  • Server address
  • Software type (if available)
  • Minecraft version
  • Server favicon
  • Server banner image
The MOTD is automatically cleaned of Minecraft color codes for better readability in Discord.

Troubleshooting

If the command shows “Unable to connect to the Server”:
  • Verify the server IP address is correct
  • Check if the server is online
  • Ensure the port is correct (default: 25565)
  • Some servers may have query disabled

Discord activities

Start Discord’s built-in activities in voice channels.

Syntax

/activities voicechannel:<channel> activity:<activity_name>

How it works

  1. Select a voice channel from your server
  2. Choose an activity from the dropdown
  3. Yato creates a special invite link for the activity
  4. Click the “Join” button to start the activity
  5. The invite link is valid for 24 hours

Notes

  • Activities are a Discord BETA feature
  • You must select a voice channel (not a text channel)
  • The invite link expires after 24 hours
  • Participants need to click the invite link to join the activity

Edit CSS server (Admin only)

Add or edit saved CS:S server configurations in the database.

Syntax

/editcssserver cmd:<command> ip:<server_ip> name:<server_name>

  • Specific guild: 674567417434996736

Best practices

  • Double-check IP addresses and ports before running commands
  • Some game servers may have query disabled for security
  • Server status reflects real-time data and may change quickly
  • Make sure you have permission to create invites in the voice channel
  • Yato needs the CREATE_INSTANT_INVITE permission in that channel
  • Activities work best with stable internet connections
  • Some activities have participant limits
  • Server administrators can pre-configure frequently-used servers
  • Saved servers show additional information like player lists
  • Contact bot administrators to add servers to the saved list
