Quick start

Get Runway running on your Paper server in just a few steps.

Install Runway

Download Runway from Hangar or Modrinth and place it in your server’s plugins folder.

Start your server

Start your Paper 1.20.6+ server with Java 21. Runway will generate its configuration files on first launch.

Use MiniMessage formatting

Add the [mm] prefix to any message in any plugin to enable MiniMessage formatting.
welcome-message: "[mm]<gradient:#00ff00:#0000ff>Welcome to the server!</gradient>"
