  • Then click Run anyway
This is normal for applications that aren’t widely distributed yet.
3

Complete Installation

Follow the installation wizard:
  1. Accept the license agreement
  2. Choose installation location (default is recommended)
  3. Click Install
  4. Wait for the installation to complete
The WebView2 runtime will be installed automatically if needed.
4

Launch the Application

Troubleshooting Windows Installation

If WebView2 fails to install automatically:
  1. Download WebView2 Runtime manually
  2. Install it before running LiquidLauncher
  3. Restart your computer and try again
Some antivirus software may flag the installer:
  1. Add an exception for LiquidLauncher in your antivirus
  2. Temporarily disable antivirus during installation
  3. Download from official sources only to ensure file integrity
If you get permission errors:
  1. Right-click the installer
  2. Select Run as administrator
  3. Choose a different installation directory with write permissions

First Launch Setup

After installation, LiquidLauncher will:
  1. Create data directories in your system’s default location:
    • Windows: %APPDATA%\LiquidLauncher
    • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/LiquidLauncher
    • Linux: ~/.local/share/LiquidLauncher
  2. Check for updates automatically on startup
