Free Plan (Personal)

Perfect for individual use and personal expense tracking. Features:

Pricing: Free

Collect Plan (Team)

Designed for small to medium-sized teams that need to collect and submit expenses. Key Features:
  • Everything in Free, plus:
  • Submit and approve expense reports
  • Corporate cards and reimbursements
  • Workspace chat and collaboration
  • Categories and tags
  • Custom approval workflows
  • Multi-level approvals
  • Expensify Card
  • Invoicing
Pricing:
  • Pay-per-use: 1010-18 per active member per month (varies by currency)
  • Annual: 55-9 per active member per month (varies by currency)
  • 2025 Pricing: 55-9 per active member per month (for workspaces created after April 1, 2025)
Active members are users who create, submit, approve, or reimburse expenses during the billing period.

Control Plan (Corporate)

Built for larger organizations requiring advanced controls and integrations. Key Features:
  • Everything in Collect, plus:
  • Advanced approval workflows
  • Accounting integrations (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct)
  • Advanced policy controls
  • GL codes and tax tracking
  • Custom report fields
  • Multi-currency support
  • Advanced spend controls
  • Dedicated account management (for larger plans)
Pricing:
  • Pay-per-use: 1818-36 per active member per month (varies by currency)
  • Annual: 99-18 per active member per month (varies by currency)

Subscription Types

Pay-Per-Use (Monthly)

Pay only for active members each month. This flexible option is ideal if your team size varies or you want to test the platform. Benefits:
  • No long-term commitment
  • Pay only for active members
  • Cancel anytime
  • Higher per-member rate

Annual Subscription

Commit to a fixed number of seats for one year and save up to 50% on your per-member costs. Benefits:
  • Lower per-member rate (50% savings vs pay-per-use)
  • Predictable billing
  • Lock in your price for 12 months
  • Auto-renewal option
  • Option to auto-increase seats
With annual subscriptions, you commit to a specific number of seats. You can add more seats at any time, but downgrading requires disabling auto-renewal and waiting until your subscription period ends.

Currency Support

Subscription pricing is available in multiple currencies:
  • USD (United States Dollar)
  • GBP (British Pound Sterling)
  • AUD (Australian Dollar)
  • NZD (New Zealand Dollar)
  • EUR (Euro)
Pricing varies by currency but follows the same plan structure.

Free Trial

New workspaces on paid plans automatically receive a 7-day free trial to explore the platform’s features before billing begins. During the trial:
  • Full access to all plan features
  • No payment card required initially
  • Add a payment card before the trial ends to continue service
  • Early discount available if you add a card within 24 hours
Add a payment card within the first 24 hours of your trial to receive a 50% discount on your first year, or within the first 7 days for a 25% discount.

Active Members

You’re only billed for active members who perform billable actions during the billing period: Billable actions include:
  • Creating an expense
  • Submitting a report
  • Approving a report
  • Paying a report
  • Exporting to accounting
  • Using the Expensify Card
Not billable:
  • Viewing reports
  • Chatting
  • Being added to a workspace
  • Approving workspace settings
