Tips for Getting the Most from TechCal

As you learn new skills or your goals change, update your career profile in SettingsCareer Profile. This keeps your recommendations fresh and relevant.
Click the Near Me quick filter to find local in-person events. TechCal uses your location to show nearby conferences and meetups.
Before attending an event, check the Who’s Going section to see if anyone from your network will be there. Great for planning meetups!
After attending an event, mark it as Attended in your dashboard. This:
  • Builds your career history
  • Improves future recommendations
  • Unlocks progress tracking features
Don’t just attend conferences. Try:
  • Meetups: Great for local networking
  • Workshops: Hands-on skill building
  • Hackathons: Portfolio projects and teamwork
  • Career Fairs: Job opportunities and company exposure
