ImageGlass provides full support for multi-frame and animated images:

Some formats like AVIF, HEIC, HEIF, PSD, and JXL are treated as single-frame formats by default for better performance. Use the Frame Navigator tool to access all frames.

ImageGlass uses Windows Imaging Component (WIC) codecs, which means it can support additional formats if you have third-party codecs installed on your system.

Format-Specific Notes

SVG Files

SVG files are rendered using Microsoft WebView2 for accurate vector graphics display. Make sure WebView2 runtime is installed for optimal SVG viewing.

RAW Files

RAW format support is provided through WIC codecs. Image quality and feature support may vary depending on your installed codecs.

Multi-Frame Images

Use the Frame Navigator tool (P key) to navigate through frames, control animation playback, and export individual frames from animated or multi-page images.
