TripLoom’s hotel search feature helps you find accommodations near your destinations with price comparison and filter options.

Search for hotels

Navigate to Hotels page

Open your trip and click Hotels in the navigation.

Enter destination

Type the city or area where you need accommodation (e.g., “Paris, France”).

Set dates

Select check-in and check-out dates.

Specify guests

Enter number of guests and rooms needed.

Search

Click Search Hotels to see results.
Hotel search uses mock data for display and UI testing. Integration with booking APIs is in progress.

Filter and sort results

Refine your search using the filters panel:

Price range

  • Move the slider to set minimum and maximum price per night
  • Prices shown in your selected currency

Star rating

  • Filter by hotel classification (1-5 stars)
  • Select multiple star levels

Amenities

  • WiFi, Pool, Gym, Parking
  • Breakfast included, Spa, Restaurant
  • Check amenities to match your needs

Distance from center

  • Filter hotels by proximity to city center
  • Useful for prioritizing location convenience
Use the “Best Pick” indicator to identify hotels with the best combination of price, rating, and location.

Hotel result cards

Each hotel displays:
  • Hotel name and area
  • Star rating - Classification from 1-5 stars
  • Guest review score - Average rating from reviews
  • Review count - Number of reviews
  • Price per night - Room rate for your dates
  • Room type - Standard, Deluxe, Suite, etc.
  • Amenities - Icons for WiFi, Pool, Gym, etc.
  • Distance to center - How far from city center
  • Best Pick badge - Highlighted recommendations

Click on a hotel card to see:
  • Full amenity list
  • Room photos and descriptions
  • Cancellation policy
  • Guest reviews
  • Location map

Add hotels to trip

Save promising options for later comparison:

Browse results

Review the hotel list and identify candidates.

Click Add to Trip

On the hotel card, click Add to Trip.

Confirm selection

The hotel saves to your trip’s accommodations list.

Compare options

View all saved hotels in the trip overview to make your final decision.

Track hotel bookings

After booking externally:
  1. Navigate to Finance page
  2. Add the hotel cost as an expense in the “Hotels” category
  3. Use the Hotel Split allocator to spread cost across nights
  4. Add booking confirmation details to itinerary notes
TripLoom displays hotel search results but does not process payments directly. Book through the hotel’s website or third-party booking platforms.
