Foundation Projects

ungoogled-chromium

Helium is proudly based on ungoogled-chromium. It wouldn’t be possible to get rid of Google’s bloat and establish a development and building pipeline this quickly without it.
ungoogled-chromium is a privacy-focused modification of Chromium that removes Google integration and enhances privacy, control, and transparency. Helium builds on this foundation and intends to contribute improvements upstream.

  • Sharing privacy and security improvements with the community
  • Maintaining transparent development practices
  • Supporting and acknowledging the projects we build upon
