CashCat is available on multiple platforms so you can manage your budget wherever you are. Choose the platform that works best for you.

Web application

The fastest way to get started is through the web application. No installation required.

Access the web app

  1. Visit cashcat.app in any modern browser
  2. Sign up or log in to your account
  3. Start budgeting immediately

Supported browsers

CashCat works best on:
  • Chrome (version 90+)
  • Firefox (version 88+)
  • Safari (version 14+)
  • Edge (version 90+)
The web app is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers, but we recommend installing the native mobile apps for the best experience on phones and tablets.

iOS application

Get CashCat on your iPhone or iPad for on-the-go budgeting.

  • iOS 13.0 or later
  • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Installation steps

Download from the App Store

Search for “CashCat” in the App Store. The app is currently in early access.

Install the app

Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

Open and sign in

Launch CashCat and sign in with your existing account or create a new one.
CashCat for iOS is built with Capacitor, ensuring a native experience while maintaining feature parity with the web version.

Android application

Use CashCat on Android phones and tablets.

  • Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later
  • Google Play Services

Installation steps

Download from Google Play

Search for “CashCat” in the Google Play Store. The app is currently in early access.

Install the app

Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.

Open and sign in

Launch CashCat and sign in with your existing account or create a new one.

Progressive Web App (PWA)

You can also install CashCat as a Progressive Web App directly from your browser for an app-like experience without going through an app store.

On mobile browsers

iOS (Safari):
  1. Visit cashcat.app in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Name it “CashCat” and tap Add
Android (Chrome):
  1. Visit cashcat.app in Chrome
  2. Tap the menu button (three dots)
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home Screen
  4. Confirm the installation

On desktop browsers

Chrome, Edge, or Brave:
  1. Visit cashcat.app
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (usually a computer with a down arrow)
  3. Click it and select Install
The PWA will open in its own window and appear in your applications menu.

Data synchronization

All your budget data is automatically synchronized across all platforms in real-time. This means you can:
  • Start a budget on your computer
  • Log transactions on your phone
  • Review reports on your tablet
Your data is always up to date, no matter which device you use.
CashCat requires an internet connection to sync data. If you’re offline, you can still use the app, and your changes will sync automatically when you reconnect.
