The Quest Tracking system provides comprehensive tools for managing all Escape from Tarkov quests, with powerful filtering, two distinct visualization modes, and detailed task information.

Filtering tasks

The filter bar at the top of the Tasks page lets you narrow down quests using multiple criteria: Type in the search box to filter tasks by name. The search matches task names in real-time as you type.

Trader filter

Select one or more traders to show only their quests:
  • Prapor
  • Therapist
  • Skier
  • Peacekeeper
  • Mechanic
  • Ragman
  • Jaeger
  • Fence
  • Lightkeeper

Map filter

Filter tasks by location to plan raids efficiently:
  • Customs
  • Woods
  • Shoreline
  • Reserve
  • Interchange
  • Factory
  • The Lab
  • Streets of Tarkov
  • Ground Zero
  • And more

Task type filter

Narrow by objective type:
  • Shoot - Eliminate PMCs or Scavs
  • Give item - Hand in items to traders
  • Visit - Reach specific locations
  • Find item - Locate items in-raid
  • Plant item - Place items at markers
  • Mark - Mark vehicles, areas, or items
  • Extract - Survive and extract from maps
  • Skill - Reach skill level requirements
  • Trader level - Achieve trader loyalty requirements
  • Experience - Reach character level milestones

Status filter

Filter by completion state:
  • Not started - Available but not begun
  • In progress - Currently working on objectives
  • Done - Completed tasks

Kappa toggle

Click the “Kappa” button to show only quests required for the Kappa container.
Combine multiple filters for precise queries. For example, filter by Customs + Shoot + Not started to find all combat quests you haven’t started on Customs.

Resetting filters

When any filters are active, a “Reset” button appears in the filter bar. Click it to clear all selections and return to the full task list.

View modes

The Tasks page offers two ways to visualize your quests:

Flow view

Flow view displays tasks as an interactive dependency graph showing the prerequisite relationships between quests. Features:
  • Visual nodes representing each task
  • Arrows showing which tasks unlock others
  • Color-coding by completion status
  • Pan and zoom controls for navigation
  • Fullscreen mode for better visibility
  • Hover over nodes to highlight dependencies
Use Flow view when:
  • Planning your progression path
  • Understanding quest chains
  • Identifying bottleneck quests
  • Visualizing the overall quest structure
Flow view automatically filters the graph to show only tasks matching your current filter criteria, making it easy to see progression chains for specific traders or maps.

List view

List view presents tasks in a traditional table format with sortable columns. Features:
  • Compact row display showing key info
  • Trader name and icon
  • Task status badges
  • Map location
  • Kappa requirement indicator
  • Click any row to open the detail panel
Use List view when:
  • Scanning many tasks quickly
  • Searching for specific quest names
  • Reviewing completion status at a glance
  • Working through filtered results

Task detail panel

Click any task in either view to open the detail panel, which displays:

Basic information

  • Task name
  • Trader who assigns it
  • Required character level
  • Kappa requirement status
  • Completion status

Objectives list

All objectives required to complete the quest:
  • Objective description
  • Map locations (if applicable)
  • Required counts (e.g., “Eliminate 5 PMCs”)
  • Completion checkboxes

Prerequisite tree

A tree view showing:
  • Direct prerequisites - Tasks that must be completed first
  • Indirect prerequisites - Tasks in the chain before those
  • Completion status for each prerequisite
  • Expandable/collapsible tree structure
The prerequisite tree helps you understand why a task is locked and plan the sequence of quests needed to unlock it.

Rewards

  • Experience points gained
  • Currency rewards (Roubles, Dollars, Euros)
  • Item rewards with quantities
  • Trader reputation changes

Notes feature

Each task has a notes field where you can:
  • Add personal reminders
  • Record strategies or tips
  • Track specific progress details
  • Save useful information for future wipes
Notes are saved per-task and persist across sessions.

Marking tasks complete

There are several ways to mark tasks as complete:

From the detail panel

Click the status dropdown and select “Done”.

From the Now panel

Click the “Done” button on pinned tasks in the dashboard.

Prerequisite checking

When you mark a task complete, the app automatically:
  1. Checks if all prerequisite tasks are completed
  2. If prerequisites are incomplete, shows a confirmation modal
  3. Lists all incomplete prerequisites with their current status
  4. Offers to batch-complete them
This safety check prevents accidentally marking tasks complete out of sequence, which could cause confusion in dependency tracking.

Batch completion

When the prerequisite confirmation modal appears, you have two options: Batch complete all
  • Marks all listed prerequisites as “Done”
  • Then marks your target task as “Done”
  • Updates all progress tracking immediately
  • Refreshes dependency graphs and recommendations
Cancel
  • Closes the modal without changes
  • Allows you to manually complete prerequisites in order
  • Maintains accurate progression state
Batch completion is useful when you’ve completed several tasks in-game but haven’t updated the tracker yet. It saves time updating multiple tasks at once.
