Feed Modes
EmbyTok offers three ways to browse your video content:- Latest
- Random
- Favorites
Browse videos chronologically from newest to oldest. This feed automatically loads more videos as you scroll, providing an endless browsing experience through your entire library.Best for: Catching up on recently added content
Switching Feed Modes
On Desktop/Tablet:- Look for the feed mode buttons at the top of the screen
- Click between “Latest” (最新), “Random” (随机), and “Favorites” (收藏)
- Tap the menu icon (three lines) in the top left
- Select your desired feed mode from the drawer
Swipe Navigation
Navigate through videos with natural vertical gestures:- Swipe Up: Go to the next video
- Swipe Down: Return to the previous video
- Tap: Pause/play the current video
Orientation Filtering
Control which video orientations appear in your feed to match your viewing preference and device.Vertical Only
Show only portrait/vertical videos (9:16, etc.)
Horizontal Only
Show only landscape/widescreen videos (16:9, etc.)
Both
Show all videos regardless of orientation
Setting Your Orientation Preference
- Open the menu (three-line icon in top left)
- Tap “Settings” at the bottom
- Under “Display Preferences,” select your preferred orientation mode
- The feed will automatically reload with filtered content
Smart Defaults: EmbyTok automatically selects “Vertical Only” on mobile devices and “Both” on tablets/desktops to match typical viewing patterns.
View Modes
Switch between two different viewing experiences:Feed View (Default)
Full-screen, immersive TikTok-style browsing. Videos fill the entire screen with vertical scrolling navigation.Grid View
See multiple videos at once in a thumbnail grid. Perfect for:- Quickly scanning through many videos
- Finding a specific video by thumbnail
- Getting an overview of your library
Grid view automatically activates on landscape-oriented devices (like TVs and tablets) for easier navigation.
Auto-Play Mode
Enable continuous playback to watch videos back-to-back without interaction:- Tap the infinity (∞) icon on the right side of the screen
- When a video ends, the next one automatically begins
- All UI elements fade away for distraction-free viewing
- Seamless transitions between videos
- Pure viewing mode with minimal UI
- Automatic progression through your feed
- Tap the infinity icon again to disable
