Once you’ve created your perfect PC configuration, PCPartsPicker makes it easy to share your build with others or save it for reference. Export your configuration as a PDF document or share it directly on social media.

Sharing options

PDF export

Export your complete build configuration as a professional PDF document that includes:
  • Full component list with specifications
  • Individual component prices
  • Total build cost
  • Regional pricing information
  • Compatibility verification status

PDF export

Generate a downloadable PDF of your entire build configuration. Perfect for saving, printing, or sharing with friends who might not have immediate internet access.
Use PDF export for:
  • Saving builds for future reference
  • Printing shopping lists for in-store purchases
  • Sharing via email or messaging apps
  • Creating documentation of your build
  • Comparing multiple configurations offline

Social media sharing

Share your build directly on social media platforms to:
  • Get feedback from the PC building community
  • Show off your planned configuration
  • Ask for suggestions and improvements
  • Share builds with friends and family
  • Document your build journey
Social media sharing generates a formatted post with your component list and build details, making it easy for others to see your configuration at a glance.

What gets shared

When you export or share a build, the following information is included:
  • Component details - Every selected component with full specifications
  • Pricing - Individual component costs and total build price
  • Regional information - Which region’s pricing is shown (US or India)
  • Build type - Whether you started from a template or custom build
If you used a pre-built template as a starting point and made modifications, the shared build will reflect your customizations, not the original template.

Privacy and control

You have full control over what you share:
  • Builds are only shared when you explicitly choose to export or share
  • No automatic posting or public sharing without your action
  • PDF exports are local to your device
  • You control where and when social media posts are published

Sharing workflow example

Here’s a typical sharing workflow:
  1. Build your PC using the builder interface
  2. Verify compatibility with automatic checking
  3. Review total cost with regional pricing
  4. Export as PDF to save for yourself or share privately
  5. Share on social media to get community feedback
  6. Iterate and refine based on suggestions
  7. Export final version once you’re ready to purchase
Whether you’re sharing to get advice, show off a premium build, or simply keep records of your configurations, the export and sharing features make it simple to distribute your builds however you choose.
