Search Tips

  • Check your spelling
  • Try using fewer search terms
  • Use the dropdown filters instead for more precise control
  • Remember: Combined searches require Pokémon to match ALL criteria
  • The first search for a new type loads all Pokémon of that type from the API
  • Subsequent searches for the same type will be much faster due to caching
  • Name searches are always fast as they use the local index
Yes! The search system supports keywords in both languages. You can use “fuego” or “fire”, “rojo” or “red”, etc.
To reset your search and view all Pokémon again:
  1. Clear the search input field
  2. Or click the reset filters button in the filters section
  3. The Pokédex will return to showing all Pokémon
Use the search suggestions feature! It helps you discover what keywords are available and prevents typos.
