This guide is intended as an introduction to the OroCommerce default storefront. It illustrates how to navigate, browse, and interact with the store.
If you are working with OroCommerce demo data, you can explore all storefront features with preconfigured customers, products, and orders. Sign in using one of the predefined demo user roles:

Browse your order history, track order status, and re-order previous purchases.

Checkout

Complete a purchase by selecting addresses, payment method, and shipping options.

Account Management

Manage your account profile, addresses, users, roles, and other account-level settings.

Conversations

Communicate with your sales representative directly through the storefront conversations feature.

How Storefront Access Works

Guest users can browse the storefront without signing in. Depending on the store configuration, guests may also be able to:
  • View the product catalog and pricing
  • Add items to a guest shopping list
  • Submit a Request for Quote
  • Proceed through a guest checkout
Guest activity is tracked via a customer visitor session. If a guest registers, their shopping list and other data is transferred to their new account.

Checkout Process

Build your shopping list

Browse the catalog or use the Quick Order Form to add products to a shopping list.

Initiate checkout

From your shopping list, click Create Order to start the checkout workflow.

Enter billing and shipping details

Select or enter billing and shipping addresses for the order.

Select shipping method

Choose from the available shipping services and options.

Select payment method

Choose your payment method and enter any required payment details.

Review and submit

Review order summary, apply any coupons or notes, and submit the order.
The storefront includes a configurable cookie consent banner to support compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR. Visitors are informed about cookie usage and can accept or decline non-essential cookies. Cookie consent can be configured through the back-office system settings to comply with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
