The Nepal Administrative Divisions application allows you to explore the country’s administrative structure through an intuitive hierarchical navigation system. The application organizes Nepal’s administrative divisions into three levels:
  1. Provinces - The top-level administrative units
  2. Districts - Mid-level divisions within each province
  3. Municipalities - Local administrative units within districts

Starting at the Home Page

When you visit the home page (/), you’ll see a list of all seven provinces of Nepal. Each province name is clickable and takes you to the detailed province view.

Viewing Province Details

Clicking on any province (/province/<id>) displays:
  • Province information
    • Total area in square kilometers
    • Official website link
    • Administrative headquarter location
  • Districts list - All districts within the selected province, displayed as clickable links
Each province page includes a “Back to Provinces” link for easy navigation to the home page.

Exploring District Information

From a province page, click on any district to view its details (/district/<province_id>/<district_id>):
  • District information
    • Total area in square kilometers
    • Official website link
    • Administrative headquarter location
  • Municipalities list - All municipalities within the district with expandable details

Viewing Municipality Details

Municipalities are displayed in an expandable format. Click on any municipality to reveal:
  • Category classification
  • Total area in square kilometers
  • Official website link
  • Complete list of administrative wards
Municipality details are shown inline with a summary view (area and ward count) that expands to show full information when clicked.
The application provides convenient back navigation:
  • From district pages: Navigate back to the parent province or return to the home page
  • Breadcrumb-style navigation helps you understand your current location in the hierarchy
