Our Pledge

As contributors and maintainers of this project, and in the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we pledge to respect all people who contribute through reporting issues, posting feature requests, updating documentation, submitting pull requests or patches, and other activities. We are committed to making participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of level of experience, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.

CNCF Code of Conduct

We follow the CNCF Code of Conduct. The CNCF Code of Conduct provides detailed guidelines on:
  • Expected behavior from community members
  • Unacceptable behavior and harassment definitions
  • Consequences for unacceptable behavior
  • Reporting procedures for code of conduct violations
  • Scope and enforcement of the code of conduct

Reporting Violations

Please contact the CNCF Code of Conduct Committee in order to report violations of the Code of Conduct. All reports will be kept confidential. In some cases, we may determine that a public statement will need to be made. If that’s the case, the identities of all victims and reporters will remain confidential unless those individuals instruct us otherwise.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:
  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
  • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the CNCF Code of Conduct Committee at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident. Further details of specific enforcement policies may be posted separately.
