Overview
pH standards define the acceptable pH range for products that require pH testing. Not all products require pH measurement.
These standards are extracted from lib/production-constants.ts:222-242 and represent the source of truth for pH quality control.
Validation Range
All pH measurements must be between 0 and 14.

Products WITHOUT pH Requirements
The following product categories do not require pH measurement:
- Aromatizantes Ambientales (all ARO* products)
- Bases Aromatizantes (all BARO* products)
- Limpiadores Multiusos (most LIM* products)
- Suavizantes de Telas (all SUA* products)
- Reforzadores de Aroma (all REFARO-* products)
- Some intermediate products (CLO, INS, LIMVID, etc.)

pH by Product Category
Personal Care Products (pH 5-7)
Personal care products like hand soaps, shampoos, and creams typically have acidic to neutral pH to match skin pH.
Laundry Detergents (pH 7-9)
Laundry detergents are slightly alkaline to help break down oils and stains.
Dish Detergents (pH 7-9)
Dish washing detergents are neutral to slightly alkaline for effective grease cutting.
Automotive Products (pH 6-7)
Automotive products maintain neutral pH to avoid damage to vehicle surfaces.
Unlike solids measurements, pH conformity is typically binary:

pH measurements do not use the ±5% tolerance zone that applies to solids measurements.
