GitBook allows you to export your content as PDF files, both for published documentation and internal knowledge bases.
Allow readers to export published content
PDF export for published sites is available for Premium and Ultimate sites.
To enable or disable PDF export for visitors to your published docs site:
Open docs site dashboard
Navigate to your published docs site’s dashboard
Go to customization settings
Open the Customization tab
Configure page actions
Navigate to Configure → Page actions
Toggle PDF export
Toggle Export as PDF on or off
This setting determines whether or not readers of your published content can download it in PDF format.
Export internal content as PDF
However you decide to configure your published docs sites, all logged-in members of an organization on a Pro or Enterprise plan can export a page — or an entire space — from your internal knowledge base as a PDF file.
Links across spaces are not currently supported when exporting internal content to PDF.
