Adding Bookmarks

Adding bookmarks to your collection is quick and easy. The application automatically fetches metadata like title, description, and thumbnail images from the URL you provide.
1

Paste the URL

Click into the input field at the bottom of the screen and paste your link. You can also click the clipboard icon to automatically paste from your clipboard.
The URL must start with https:// to be valid. The application will validate the format before processing.
2

Submit the bookmark

Press Enter or click the arrow button to add the bookmark. The application will:
  • Validate the URL format
  • Check if the bookmark already exists in your collection
  • Fetch metadata (title, description, thumbnail, domain)
  • Save the bookmark to your collection
3

View your bookmark

Once added, your new bookmark will appear at the top of your collection (if using “Newest first” sorting). The page will automatically scroll to the top so you can see it.
If you try to add a bookmark that already exists in your collection, you’ll receive a notification asking if you want to save it again. This prevents accidental duplicates.
