Keeping your inventory up to date ensures smooth operations and prevents overselling. This guide covers everything you need to manage your products effectively.

Viewing All Products

Access your complete product inventory:
  1. From the home page, click “Productos” (Products) or “All Products”
  2. Navigate to /products to see your entire catalog

Product Display

Your products are shown in a grid layout with:
  • Product images (main photo)
  • Product name
  • Price
  • Stock levels
  • Action buttons (Edit and Delete)
Products are displayed as cards for easy scanning. On mobile devices, the grid adjusts to 2 columns for better viewing.

Updating Stock Levels

DADDO automatically updates stock when you record sales, but you may need to manually adjust inventory:

When to Update Stock Manually

  • Received new inventory shipments
  • Found discrepancies during physical counts
  • Products were damaged or lost
  • Inventory adjustments for returns

How to Update Stock

1

Find the Product

Navigate to the All Products page and locate the product you want to update.
2

Click Edit

Click the “Editar” (Edit) button on the product card.
3

Update the Stock Field

In the edit modal:
  • Locate the Stock field
  • Enter the new stock quantity
  • Update variant stock levels if applicable
4

Save Changes

Click “Guardar” (Save) to update the product.
You’ll see a success message: “Producto actualizado correctamente” (Product updated successfully)
Stock is automatically reduced when you confirm sales. Make sure not to double-count when doing manual updates.

Filtering and Searching Products

While the All Products page shows your complete catalog, you can use categories to organize and find products:

Using Categories to Organize

  1. Assign products to relevant categories when creating them
  2. Group similar products under the same category
  3. Use category filters when:
    • Recording sales
    • Generating catalog links
    • Downloading PDF catalogs

Quick Search Tips

When creating sales, you can search products by name after selecting a category

  • Consider which variants sell best
  • Keep category structure simple and logical

  • Ensure every product is categorized
  • Use consistent naming conventions

Understanding Stock Movements

Automatic Stock Reductions

DADDO automatically reduces stock when:
  1. You create a sale with products
  2. You confirm the sale (status changes to “completado”)
Stock is only reduced when a sale is confirmed, not when it’s created as “pending”. This allows you to create draft sales without affecting inventory.

Manual Stock Adjustments

You should manually adjust stock for:
  • New inventory arrivals
  • Physical inventory corrections
  • Damaged or lost items
  • Returns or refunds (increase stock)
  • Samples or promotional giveaways

Bulk Product Management

When managing many products:
  1. Create products in batches: Use the “Create another product” option when adding multiple items
  2. Update similar products together: Edit similar products during the same session
  3. Regular maintenance: Set aside time weekly to review and update inventory
Take photos of all your products at once in good lighting. This makes it faster to add products later without worrying about consistent photo quality.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Edit the product and update the stock field
  • Check if you accidentally created a duplicate product
  • Verify you’re looking at the correct variant
  • Ensure you’re connected to the internet
  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Check if the product is part of any pending sales
  • Verify the images uploaded successfully
  • Try uploading smaller file sizes
  • Use common formats (JPG, PNG)
  • Make sure you clicked the Save button
  • Check your internet connection
  • Look for any error messages
  • Try refreshing and making the change again
