DADDO makes it easy to share your products with customers through public catalog links, QR codes, and downloadable PDFs. This guide shows you how to create and customize your shareable catalogs.

Accessing the Catalog Tool

Open the catalog sharing interface:
  1. From the home page, click “Mi Catálogo” (My Catalog)
  2. Or navigate to CatalogMy Catalog Link
3. A modal window will open with sharing options
The catalog sharing modal has two main tabs: “Enlace público” (Public Link) and “Descargar PDF” (Download PDF).
Create shareable URLs that display your products:
1

Open the Link Tab

In the catalog modal, ensure you’re on the “Enlace público” (Public Link) tab.
2

Filter by Category (Optional)

To create a category-specific catalog:
  • Click the “Filtrar categoría” dropdown
  • Select a specific category, or leave as “Todas las categorías” (All categories)
Category-specific links are useful if you sell different product types to different customer groups.
3

Customize Visible Information

Choose what customers see using the toggles:

Business Name

Toggle “Nombre del negocio” to show/hide your business name on the catalog page

Phone Number

Toggle “Teléfono de contacto” to show/hide your contact number
These settings only affect this specific link. You can create multiple links with different settings.
4

Copy the Generated Link

Your catalog URL is automatically generated and displayed:
  • Click the “Copiar enlace” (Copy link) button
  • The button will change to “Copiado” (Copied) with a green checkmark
  • Paste the link wherever you need to share it
You can also click the external link icon to open the catalog in a new browser tab and preview it.

Using QR Codes

QR codes provide an easy way for customers to access your catalog by scanning with their phones.

Viewing Your QR Code

The QR code is automatically generated on the “Enlace público” tab:
  • It appears below the catalog URL
  • It reflects your current settings (category filter, visible information)
  • It updates automatically when you change options

Using QR Codes Effectively

In-Store Display

  • Take a screenshot of the QR code
  • Print and display near your checkout
  • Customers can scan to browse products

Marketing Materials

  • Add QR codes to business cards
  • Include in flyers or brochures
  • Post on social media graphics

Delivery & Packaging

  • Print on product packaging
  • Include with deliveries
  • Encourage repeat orders

Events & Markets

  • Display at market stalls
  • Show at trade shows
  • Quick way for customers to save your catalog
To save the QR code image, right-click on it and select “Save image as…” or take a screenshot of the modal.

Downloading PDF Catalogs

Create printable or shareable PDF versions of your catalog:
1

Switch to PDF Tab

Click the “Descargar PDF” (Download PDF) tab in the catalog modal.
2

Select Category Filter (Optional)

Just like with links, you can filter by category:
  • Choose “Todas las categorías” for a complete catalog
  • Select a specific category for a filtered version
3

Choose Information to Include

Toggle what information appears in the PDF:
  • “Nombre del negocio” (Business name)
  • “Nombre del propietario” (Owner name)
  • “Teléfono de contacto” (Contact phone)
PDF options are separate from link options, so you can customize each format differently.
4

Download the PDF

Click the “Descargar PDF” button:
  • The PDF is generated with your selected options
  • It downloads automatically to your device
  • The PDF includes product images, names, prices, and stock

When to Use PDF Catalogs

  • Bring to markets or trade shows without internet
  • Print physical catalogs for customers
  • Have backup when technology fails
  • Email to wholesale buyers
  • Share with business partners
  • Include in proposals or quotes
  • Provide take-home catalogs
  • Mail to regular customers
  • Include with large orders

Understanding Public vs Private Views

Public Catalog View

When customers access your catalog link, they see:
  • Product images in a grid layout
  • Product names and prices
  • Stock availability
  • Product variants (colors/sizes) as clickable options
  • Your business information (if enabled)
  • Your contact phone (if enabled)
What customers CANNOT do:
  • Edit products
  • See purchase prices (profit margins)
  • Access your sales data
  • View other users’ information
The public catalog is read-only. Customers can browse but cannot modify any information.

Private Admin View

Your admin view (when logged in) shows:
  • All the same information as the public view
  • Plus: Edit and delete buttons
  • Plus: Purchase prices for profit tracking
  • Plus: Sales history and analytics
  • Plus: Inventory management tools

Customizing Catalog Display

Business Name and Contact Info

Control your branding and contact information: Show Business Name:
  • Displays your business name prominently at the top
  • Helps with brand recognition
  • Useful for professional catalogs
Show Phone Number:
  • Displays your contact number
  • Makes it easy for customers to reach you
  • Consider privacy before enabling
Be cautious about displaying your phone number publicly if you’re concerned about spam or privacy. You can create separate links with different visibility settings for different audiences.

Category-Specific Catalogs

Create targeted catalogs for different customer segments: Example Use Cases:
  • Create a “Summer Collection” category link
  • Share only relevant products for the season
  • Update and reshare as seasons change
  • “Wholesale” category for business customers
  • “Retail” category for individual buyers
  • “Premium” category for high-end products
  • Share “Electronics” with tech enthusiasts
  • Share “Clothing” with fashion customers
  • Separate “Accessories” for add-on sales

Sharing Strategies

Instagram/Facebook:
  • Add link to your bio/profile
  • Include in Stories with “Swipe Up”
  • Post QR code as an image
  • Pin catalog link in comments
WhatsApp:
  • Send direct link in messages
  • Add to WhatsApp Business catalog section
  • Share in status updates
  • Include catalog link in email signatures
  • Send in newsletters
  • Add prominent “View Catalog” button
  • Track which emails drive the most traffic
  • Add “Shop Our Catalog” button to your website
  • Embed link in blog posts
  • Include in contact/about pages
  • Use in navigation menus
  • Print QR codes on business cards
  • Display QR codes in store windows
  • Include on receipts and invoices
  • Add to product packaging

Creating Multiple Catalogs

You can create different catalog versions for different purposes:
  1. Complete catalog (all categories, full contact info) → For general marketing
  2. Category-specific (e.g., just electronics) → For targeted campaigns
  3. Anonymous catalog (no business name/phone) → For marketplaces or third-party sites
  4. Contact-enabled (with phone) → For customer service and support
Keep a document with your different catalog links and their purposes. This helps you quickly share the right link for each situation.

Updating Your Catalog

Your public catalog automatically reflects changes:
  • Add products: New products appear immediately
  • Update prices: Price changes show in real-time
  • Change stock: Stock levels update automatically
  • Edit images: New images replace old ones
  • Delete products: Removed products disappear from catalog
You don’t need to regenerate links when you update products. The same link always shows your current inventory.

Catalog Analytics

While DADDO doesn’t have built-in analytics for catalog views, you can:
  • Use URL shorteners (like Bitly) to track clicks
  • Create different links for different marketing channels
  • Ask customers how they found you
  • Monitor sales increases after sharing campaigns

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure QR code image is clear and high-resolution
  • Try printing at a larger size
  • Verify QR code isn’t distorted or damaged
  • Test with multiple QR code reader apps
  • Check your browser’s download settings
  • Ensure pop-ups are allowed for DADDO
  • Try a different browser
  • Verify you have sufficient storage space
  • Refresh the browser page
  • Clear browser cache
  • Products should update automatically
  • Verify changes were saved in the admin panel

Security and Privacy

Public catalog links can be accessed by anyone who has the URL. They don’t require login credentials.
What’s Protected:
  • Purchase prices (profit margins are hidden)
  • Your login credentials
  • Sales history and analytics
  • Other users’ information
  • Admin functions
What’s Public:
  • Product names and descriptions
  • Sale prices
  • Stock levels
  • Product images
  • Business name and phone (if enabled)
If you need more control over who sees your catalog, create category-specific links and only share those with trusted customers.
