1983 — Foundation
Reprodisseny opens its doors in a 40 m² premises in the Sant Gervasi neighbourhood, offering copy and fast-print services.In 1986, the arrival of Macintosh computers and desktop-publishing software transformed the workflow — jobs that previously took weeks were completed in days.
1993 — First Digital Press
The Xerox Docutec black-and-white digital press marks the transition from analogue to digital production, setting the stage for the industry revolution to come.In 1996, Reprodisseny launches its first website.
1999 — Juan de Mena Production Centre
A pivotal milestone: the inauguration of the Centro de Producción Juan de Mena. Located near the Hospital de la Vall d’Hebron and just metres from the Ronda de Dalt ring road, the facility spans more than 1,000 m² and gives the company the capacity to take on large-scale projects with speed and efficiency.
2006 — First Colour Digital Press
Reprodisseny becomes a pioneer in the sector by installing the iGen 3, the first high-volume colour digital press in its category.This consolidates the company’s digital strategy. Reprodisseny is also the first in the sector to implement Direct Smile, a platform specialising in personalisation and multichannel communication.
2017 — Large-Format Expansion
Production capacity grows with the addition of two new colour presses — iGen 150 and iGen 5 — alongside a Kongsberg digital cutting table.Combined with HP Latex plotters and an in-house installation team, these investments allow Reprodisseny to take on large-format and large-scale projects across a fast-growing market segment.
2024 — 40 Years of Expertise
Celebrating four decades, Reprodisseny adds an HP R1000 wide-format printer capable of printing on a wide variety of rigid materials.Today the company works with the leading machinery suppliers in the industry: Ricoh, Canon, HP, Kongsberg, ESKO, Horizon, and Heidelberg, and is established as one of Barcelona’s best digital printing companies.A second revolution is beginning in the sector with the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Production Centre
The Centro de Producción Juan de Mena is the operational heart of Reprodisseny. Its more than 1,000 m² of floor space — located near the Vall d’Hebron area, with direct access to the Ronda de Dalt — are equipped to handle everything from short-run personalised jobs to high-volume production runs and large-format installations.Technology Partners
