Catppuccin is a community-driven pastel theme that aims to be the middle ground between low and high contrast themes. It comes in four flavors: Latte, Frappé, Macchiato, and Mocha.

Quick setup

For a quick setup with Catppuccin colors, add the following to your tmux configuration:

Applying the theme

To apply the Catppuccin theme:
  1. Choose your preferred flavor (Mocha, Macchiato, Frappé, or Latte)
  2. Add the color palette to your ~/.tmux.conf
  3. Optionally customize widget colors using the Catppuccin color names
  4. Reload your tmux configuration:
tmux source-file ~/.tmux.conf
The Mocha variant is recommended for dark terminal themes, while Latte works best with light terminal themes.
