Tomorrow Night is a clean, minimalist color scheme family created by Chris Kempson. It features carefully selected colors that provide excellent readability and comes in multiple variants.

Quick setup

For a quick setup with Tomorrow Night colors, add the following to your tmux configuration:

Applying the theme

To apply the Tomorrow Night theme:
  1. Choose your preferred variant (Night, Light, Eighties, Bright, or Blue)
  2. Add the color palette to your ~/.tmux.conf:

Tomorrow Night is the most popular variant and works well in most dark terminal setups. Tomorrow Night Blue provides a unique blue-tinted background for those who prefer cooler tones.

If you use the full palette, you can customize individual widgets with Tomorrow color names:
