The search is fuzzy-tolerant and handles common misspellings, partial names, and both generic and brand name searches.

Medication Addition Confirmation

When you select a medication:

    • Medication name and dosage filled in prescription form
    • Ready for you to specify frequency and duration
You can add multiple medications to a single prescription. Each medication gets its own dosage and duration settings.

Dosage & Frequency Settings

For each medication, specify:

Dosage Amount

  • Number of tablets/capsules/ml per dose
  • Examples: “1 tablet”, “2 capsules”, “5ml”

Frequency

  • OD (Once Daily): One time per day
  • BD (Twice Daily): Two times per day
  • TDS (Three Times Daily): Three times per day
  • QID (Four Times Daily): Four times per day
  • SOS (As Needed): When required
  • HS (Before Sleep): At bedtime
  • Custom: Specify your own schedule

Timing

  • Before food
  • After food
  • With food
  • Empty stomach
  • Anytime

Duration

  • Number of days (e.g., “5 days”, “14 days”)
  • Or “Continue until follow-up”
  • Or “As directed”
Always specify clear duration to prevent over-use or under-use of medications. Patients rely on these instructions.
