Why can't I see my submission on the map?
Don’t worry! In most cases, it’s simply because we haven’t had time to review it yet. All submissions are reviewed by a small group of volunteers before appearing on the map, to make sure they are respectful and safe. As soon as we review it, your submission will be visible!The review process typically takes a few hours to a few days, depending on the volume of submissions. Thank you for your patience.

Of course! If you’d like us to delete your submission, please send an email to [email protected] with:
- Your submission’s # ID number
- Subject line: “Delete my submission”

If a submission doesn’t meet our community guidelines, it won’t appear on the map. Common reasons for rejection include:
- Photos showing faces clearly visible
- Personal identifying information (email, phone number, etc.)
- Content unrelated to mate culture
- Spam or advertising

We only use:
- The information you provide in the form (name, country, yerba brand, preparation style, mate type)
- The location you choose to show on the map
- Your photo
- The date and time of submission
Do I need to create an account?
Do I need to create an account?
No! You don’t need to create an account or provide an email address. Simply fill out the form and submit your mate. You can use your real name or a pseudonym.

Yes! You can use a pseudonym instead of your real name. We also encourage you to:
- Avoid photos where faces are clearly visible
- Not include personal contact information
- Only share location information you’re comfortable making public
Will my exact GPS location be shown?

No. You manually select the location point that appears on the map. We do not automatically publish precise GPS coordinates. You control exactly what location information is shared.

Yes! You’re welcome to submit as many mate experiences as you’d like. Each submission is reviewed individually.

We accept JPG and PNG image files, with a maximum size of 5MB. Make sure your photo:
- Shows your mate clearly
- Doesn’t show faces clearly visible
- Is appropriate for all audiences
- Is related to mate culture

Currently, you cannot edit submissions after they’re published. If you need to make changes, you can request deletion and submit a new entry.

Yes! Currently, all resources used are free. In the future, if migration to paid platforms becomes necessary, there will be an option to donate to help keep the site running.
