How it works
When you drag and drop a video file, gSubs searches for subtitles using a two-tier approach:- SubDB lookup: First, gSubs checks SubDB using the video file’s hash for an exact match
- OpenSubtitles search: If no match is found, gSubs performs a deep search on OpenSubtitles using the filename and metadata
