Calendar Navigation

Move through your schedule efficiently:

Navigation Arrows

Click Previous/Next to move forward or backward by the current view period

Today Button

Instantly jump back to today’s date from anywhere in the calendar

Date Picker

Select any specific date to jump directly to that day

Calendar Display

Time Configuration

Your calendar respects your preferences:
Choose between:
  • 12-hour format: 9:00 AM, 2:30 PM
  • 24-hour format: 09:00, 14:30
Set in Settings → Scheduling preferences
Configure whether your week starts on:
  • Monday (default)
  • Sunday
Affects all calendar views and date pickers
Define your calendar granularity:
  • 5-minute intervals (most common)
  • 10-minute intervals
  • 15-minute intervals
  • 30-minute intervals
Controls snap-to behavior when dragging bookings

Business Hours

Visually distinguish your operating hours:
Non-business hours appear with a subtle gray overlay, making available time slots immediately visible.
Business hours configuration:
  • Set different hours for each day of the week
  • Define start and end times
  • Mark days as closed
  • Automatic visual distinction in calendar

Booking Events

Bookings appear as colored blocks in your calendar:

Event Information

Each booking displays:
  • Customer name (or “Walk-in”)
  • Time range
  • Service color coding
  • Duration indicator

Event Colors

  • Each service has a unique color
  • Text color automatically adjusts for readability
  • Helps quickly identify service types
  • Visual consistency across all views

Click any booking to view complete details: Booking Details Modal
  • Full name
  • Contact information
  • Customer profile link
  • Customer notes (if any)

Creating Bookings from Calendar

Add appointments directly from the calendar interface:

Click Create Menu

Click the ”+” button in the calendar toolbar

Choose Booking Type

Select:
  • New Booking: Customer appointment
  • Blocked Time: Mark time as unavailable

Fill Details

Side panel opens with the booking form (see Booking Management)

Save

Booking appears immediately in the calendar

Drag-and-Drop Rescheduling

Quickly reschedule appointments by dragging bookings to new time slots.

How It Works

  1. Click and hold any booking event
  2. Drag to the desired new time slot
  3. Drop the booking
  4. Confirm the reschedule in the dialog

Drag Restrictions

You cannot reschedule bookings to times in the past. The calendar automatically prevents this.
The system validates:
  • New time must be in the future
  • Booking duration stays the same
  • New time must fit within a single day (no overnight drag)

Confirmation Dialog

Before finalizing the reschedule, you’ll see:
  • Original date and time
  • New date and time
  • Option to confirm or cancel
  • Ability to revert by clicking cancel
If you change your mind:
  1. Click “Cancel” in the confirmation dialog
  2. The booking returns to its original time
  3. No changes are saved

Blocked Time Management

Mark time as unavailable for bookings:

Open Create Menu

Click ”+” button → “Block Time”

Configure Block

Set:
  • Block type (vacation, meeting, break, etc.)
  • Start and end time
  • All-day option
  • Employee assignment (if applicable)

Add Icon (Optional)

Choose an emoji or icon to identify the block type

Save

Time is marked as unavailable

Blocked Time Display

Visual Style

  • Dark semi-transparent background
  • Clearly distinguishable from bookings
  • Shows block name and icon

Behavior

  • Prevents customer bookings in that time
  • Can be edited or deleted
  • Can be moved by dragging
  • Supports all-day blocks

Editing Blocked Time

Click any blocked time block to:
  • View block details
  • Change duration or time
  • Update block type
  • Delete the block

Recurring Events

Recurring bookings created through the booking form appear as individual instances in the calendar.
Each occurrence of a recurring booking:
  • Displays as a separate event
  • Can be individually modified
  • Links back to the booking series
  • Shows series indicator (if configured)

Calendar Side Panel

The calendar includes a sliding side panel for:
Full booking creation interface without leaving the calendar view
The side panel automatically closes after saving or can be dismissed with the close button.

Current date display, navigation arrows, and “Today” button

All times are displayed in your business’s local time zone as configured in your merchant settings.
