The Batiente system is not yet implemented. Selecting it in the application displays a “coming soon” screen. No configuration or calculation is available at this time.
Batiente is a planned window system for hinged aluminum windows that open outward at 90°. The sash is attached to the frame with continuous or butt hinges on one vertical edge and secured with a handle/lock mechanism on the opposite stile. This is the most common window typology in residential construction throughout Latin America.

Planned behaviour

When implemented, the Batiente configurator will accept the rough opening dimensions and calculate:
  • Frame profiles: outer frame (marco) perimeter cut list
  • Sash profiles: inner leaf perimeter and intermediate rails if applicable
  • Hinge count and vertical placement based on sash height
  • Glass light dimensions with appropriate clearances for the gasket system
  • Handle and lock hardware quantities
The system will support single-leaf and double-leaf (French window) configurations.

Characteristics

Opening angle

Opens 90° outward from the frame plane, clearing the full light area for ventilation and access.

Profile system

Uses a dedicated batiente profile series — separate from the corrediza profiles used in Sistema Nova.

Weatherproofing

Compression gaskets on all four sash edges provide a tighter weather seal than sliding systems.

Use case

Residential rooms requiring full ventilation and an unobstructed view without a central rail.

Use in the meantime

For current window configuration needs, use Sistema Nova, which is the only fully implemented system in MediPro.

Sistema Nova

Fully implemented aluminum window configurator with automatic profile calculations, glass sizing, and accessory counts.
