Downloading Your Plans

Once you have an active JCV Fitness subscription, you can access and download your personalized plans. This guide explains how to view and download your workout and meal plans.

Accessing Your Plans

You can access your plans in three ways:

From the Dashboard

Navigate to Dashboard

After logging in, go to /dashboard. You’ll see your Quick Actions section.

Choose Plan Type

Click one of the quick action buttons:
  • “Ver Plan de Alimentación” - View your meal plan
  • “Ver Rutina de Ejercicios” - View your workout plan
  • “Descargar PDF” - Download complete plan as PDF

Plan Opens

You’ll be taken to:
  • /plan/alimentacion - Meal plan view
  • /plan/ejercicios - Workout plan view
  • /plan/download - PDF download page

Direct URL Access

If you’re already logged in with an active subscription:
  • Meal Plan: /plan/alimentacion
  • Workout Plan: /plan/ejercicios
  • Combined View: /plan/view
  • Download Page: /plan/download
All plan pages are protected. You must have an active subscription to access them.

From Email

After payment, you receive a confirmation email with:
  • Direct link to your dashboard
  • Quick access buttons to plans
  • Download instructions

Viewing Your Meal Plan

Plan Structure

Your meal plan (/plan/alimentacion) includes:

Daily Meals

  • Breakfast (Desayuno)
  • Mid-morning snack (Media mañana)
  • Lunch (Almuerzo)
  • Afternoon snack (Merienda)
  • Dinner (Cena)

Nutrition Info

  • Calories per meal
  • Macros (protein, carbs, fats)
  • Portion sizes
  • Preparation instructions

Food Exchanges

  • Alternative food options
  • Equivalent portion sizes
  • Swap compatible foods
  • Dietary preferences honored

Weekly View

  • 7-day meal rotation
  • Phase-based progression
  • Variety in meal options
  • Food exchange tables

Meal Plan Features

  • Interactive Cards: Click any meal to see full details
  • Macro Breakdown: Visual charts showing protein/carbs/fats distribution
  • Portion Guidance: Exact measurements in grams/cups
  • Food Exchanges: Table of swappable foods with equivalent nutrition

Viewing Your Workout Plan

Plan Structure

Your workout plan (/plan/ejercicios) includes:
  • Training days vs rest days
  • Muscle group splits
  • Workout duration estimates
  • Intensity recommendations

Workout Types by Plan

Plan Básico:
  • Home bodyweight workouts
  • 3-4 days per week
  • Basic exercises
Plan Pro:
  • Gym equipment workouts
  • Home workout alternatives
  • 4-5 days per week
  • Exercise videos included
Plan Premium:
  • Customized exercise selection
  • Advanced techniques
  • 5-6 days per week
  • Personal coaching notes

Downloading Your Plan as PDF

Download Process

Go to Download Page

Navigate to /plan/download from your dashboard or click “Descargar PDF”.

Verify Subscription Status

The page shows:
  • Current subscription status (Active/Inactive)
  • Days remaining in subscription
  • Plan type (Básico, Pro, Premium)
You must have an active subscription to generate PDFs. Expired subscriptions cannot download.

Review Watermark Notice

Your PDF will include a watermark with:
  • Your full name (or email if no name set)
  • Download date
  • “Personal and Non-transferable” notice
This protects the content and prevents unauthorized sharing.

Click Download

Click the “Descargar PDF” button. The system:
  1. Verifies your active subscription
  2. Generates a watermarked PDF on-demand
  3. Logs the download with IP and timestamp
  4. Delivers the PDF to your browser

Save Your PDF

The PDF downloads with filename: plan-jcv-fitness.pdfSave it to your device for offline access.

Your generated PDF includes:

    • Your name and plan type
    • Subscription dates
    • Personal watermark

    • Your fitness goals
    • Body metrics and calculations
    • TDEE and macro targets

    • Complete weekly schedule
    • Exercise descriptions
    • Sets, reps, rest periods
    • Progression guidelines
  4. Meal Plan
    • 7-day meal rotation
    • Complete recipes
    • Macro breakdown per meal
    • Food exchange tables
  5. Appendix
    • Exercise glossary
    • Nutrition tips
    • Progress tracking logs

Security & Watermarking

Why Watermarks?

JCV Fitness watermarks all PDFs to:
  • Prevent unauthorized distribution
  • Protect intellectual property
  • Ensure accountability
  • Track plan sharing violations

Watermark Details

Each PDF page includes:
  • Header Watermark: Your email/name + date
  • Footer Watermark: “Licensed to [Your Name] - Valid until [Expiration Date]”
  • Embedded Metadata: Subscription ID and user ID
Sharing watermarked PDFs violates terms of service and may result in account termination. Plans are personal and non-transferable.

Download Limits

To prevent abuse:
  • Maximum 5 downloads per day per user
  • Each download is logged with IP address and user agent
  • Suspicious activity (e.g., sharing IPs) may trigger account review

Offline Access

Using Downloaded PDFs

Your downloaded PDF is valid for offline use:
  • ✅ Save to your device
  • ✅ View without internet
  • ✅ Print for gym use (personal only)
  • ✅ Sync to cloud storage (personal accounts only)
  • ❌ Share with others
  • ❌ Distribute publicly
  • ❌ Remove watermarks

Mobile Access

Web Access:
  • Plans are mobile-responsive
  • Access from any device browser
  • No app download required
PDF on Mobile:
  • Download PDF on desktop
  • Transfer to phone via cloud storage
  • Use PDF reader apps for easy viewing

Troubleshooting

Possible causes:
  • Subscription expired - Renew at /pricing
  • Not logged in - Log in at /login
  • No subscription yet - Purchase plan first
Solution: Check subscription status in /dashboard
Try these steps:
  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Verify you haven’t hit the 5 downloads/day limit
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Clear browser cache and cookies
  5. Contact support if issue persists
Possible issues:
  • PDF generation still in progress (wait 10 seconds)
  • Browser blocked the download
  • PDF reader compatibility issue
Solution: Re-download and use Adobe Reader or Chrome PDF viewer
How to fix:
  1. Go to /settings
  2. Update your “Full Name” field
  3. Save changes
  4. Download PDF again
The watermark uses your profile name or email as fallback.
Once your subscription expires, you cannot download PDFs. However:
  • Your previous downloads remain valid
  • Renewing your subscription restores download access
  • Your plan data is preserved and will be available when you renew

Best Practices

Download Early

Download your PDF soon after subscribing so you have offline access throughout your subscription period.

Backup Your PDF

Save your PDF to multiple locations (computer, phone, cloud) in case you lose access to one device.

Print if Needed

Print your workout plan for gym use. Laminating can protect it from sweat and wear.

Update Regularly

If you modify your wizard preferences or upgrade plans, re-download the PDF to get the updated version.
