Overview

The application automatically tracks your performance across all tests, helping you identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas that need more study. Your scores persist across sessions using browser local storage.
Performance tracking is completely automatic - you don’t need to create an account or manually save anything.

Domain Score Tracking

Each time you complete a domain test, your score is automatically saved and displayed on the home screen.

Domain Card Indicators

On the home screen, each domain card shows:

Circular Progress

A circular progress indicator appears in the top-right corner of each domain card showing:
  • Your most recent score as a percentage
  • Color-coded ring:
    • Green (80%+): Strong performance
    • Red (<80%): Needs improvement

Score History

The app tracks your most recent attempt for each domain:
  • Only the latest score is displayed
  • Scores persist across browser sessions
  • Stored locally on your device

Visual Performance Indicators

Strong PerformanceYou’re ready for this domain on the real exam. This score indicates:
  • Solid understanding of domain concepts
  • Meets AWS recommended preparation threshold
  • You can focus study efforts elsewhere
Maintain this level across all domains before scheduling your certification exam.

Full Exam Performance Breakdown

After completing a full exam simulation, you receive a comprehensive performance analysis.

Overall Score Display

1

AWS-Scaled Score

Your score is displayed on the 100-1000 scale used by AWS:
  • 700: Minimum passing score
  • 800+: Strong performance
  • Below 700: Not passing - requires more preparation
2

Pass/Fail Status

Clear visual indicator:
  • Green trophy icon: Passed (700+)
  • Red trophy icon: Not passed (<700)
  • Large text displaying “Certification Passed!” or “Not Passed”
3

Score Context

The results screen shows both:
  • Your achieved score
  • The passing threshold (700)
  • These appear side-by-side for easy comparison

Domain-by-Domain Analysis

The performance breakdown shows detailed results for each domain:
For each domain, you’ll see:
  • Domain name and number
  • Exam weight percentage (24%, 30%, 34%, or 12%)
  • Your percentage score in that domain
  • Visual progress bar with color coding
  • Performance status with icon and label

Personalized Recommendations

Based on your performance, the app provides:
  1. Focus areas: The two weakest domains are highlighted with specific scores
  2. Study suggestions: Recommendations to review flashcards and practice questions
  3. Next steps: Guidance to retake the full exam to track improvements
Recommendations appear in an orange-highlighted box at the bottom of the performance breakdown.

Last Exam Summary Card

After completing your first full exam, a “Last Exam Summary” card appears on the home screen:

What’s Displayed

  • Overall score (100-1000 scale)
  • All four domain scores with percentages
  • Visual progress bars for each domain
  • Color-coded indicators (green for 80%+, red for below 80%)

Progress Monitoring

Compare domain scores after each exam to track improvement over time
Use this card to quickly decide which domain test to take next - focus on the domains with the lowest scores.

Performance Indicators During Tests

While taking tests, you can see real-time performance indicators:

Tracking Study Progress

Use performance tracking to guide your study plan:
1

Establish Baseline

Take all four domain tests to identify your starting point in each area.
2

Focus on Weak Areas

Concentrate study efforts on domains where you scored below 80%.
3

Take Full Exam

After improving domain scores, take a full exam simulation to test combined knowledge.
4

Review Performance

Analyze the full exam breakdown to identify remaining weak spots.
5

Iterate

Retake domain tests and full exams until you consistently score 80%+ across all domains.

Understanding AWS Scoring

The application uses AWS’s scaled scoring system for full exams:

Scaled Score (100-1000)

  • AWS certification exams report scores on a scale of 100 to 1000
  • 700 is the minimum passing score
  • The scale is NOT a direct percentage:
    • Raw scores are converted using AWS’s scaling algorithm
    • This accounts for question difficulty and exam variations

What Your Score Means

Just PassingYou’ve met the minimum requirement but could benefit from more practice. Consider:
  • Retaking domain tests in weak areas
  • Taking more full exam simulations
  • Reviewing explanations for missed questions

Dark Mode Support

All performance tracking visualizations adapt to your theme preference:
  • Progress bars maintain visibility in dark mode
  • Color-coded indicators remain clear in both themes
  • Performance cards adjust background colors
  • Text contrast is optimized for readability
Toggle between light and dark mode using the sun/moon icon in the main menu.

Data Persistence

Your performance data is stored locally:

Browser Storage

All scores are saved in your browser’s local storage:
  • No account required
  • No data sent to servers
  • Persists across sessions

Privacy

Your data stays on your device:
  • Not shared or tracked
  • Clearing browser data will reset scores
  • No cloud sync between devices
If you clear your browser data or use incognito mode, your performance history will be lost.

Best Practices

  1. Track trends: Take each domain test multiple times to see improvement
  2. Set goals: Aim for 80%+ in all domains before the real exam
  3. Use data to guide study: Focus time on red-marked domains
  4. Retake full exams: Take multiple full exams to ensure consistent scores
  5. Don’t ignore high scores: Even green domains can be reviewed to maintain knowledge
  6. Check explanations: Review explanations for ALL questions, even ones you got right
  7. Monitor weak domains: Keep retaking domain tests until they turn green
