The fastest way to try Meelio is through the web application:
- Visit meelio.io
- The app loads instantly - no account required
- All data is stored locally in your browser
The web app works on any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Your First Focus Session
Let’s set up your first Pomodoro focus session:Set your timer
The timer is prominently displayed in the center of the screen.
- Default: 25-minute focus session
- Click the settings icon to customize durations
- Choose between 1-1440 minutes for focus and break times
Add ambient sound (optional)
Create your perfect focus environment:
- Click the Soundscapes icon in the dock
- Browse available sounds (rain, coffee shop, forest, etc.)
- Click sounds to activate them
- Adjust individual volumes or use the global volume slider
Create a task
Track what you’re working on:
- Click the Tasks icon in the dock
- Type your task in the input field
- Press Enter to create
- Pin a task to show it during your focus session
Start your session
Ready to focus?
- Click the Start button on the timer
- The timer begins counting down
- Soundscapes continue playing (if enabled)
- A notification appears when the session completes
The timer continues running even if you switch tabs or minimize the browser (web app) or close the tab (extension runs in background).
