The Calendar feature provides a visual, month-by-month view of all your daily records. It’s your central hub for reviewing past entries, identifying patterns, and managing your wellness tracking history.

Overview

The calendar displays:
  • Monthly view: See an entire month of your wellness journey at a glance
  • Daily record indicators: Each day with a record is highlighted
  • Quick access: Click any record to view full details
  • Record management: Edit or delete records directly from the calendar
The calendar uses FullCalendar, a powerful calendar library that provides smooth navigation and an intuitive interface.

Opening the Calendar

1

Access from Side Menu

Open the side menu and select the Calendar option. The calendar modal will appear overlaying your current view.
2

Calendar Loads

The calendar automatically loads all your daily records and displays them in a month grid view.

Monthly View

The default view shows:
  • Current month: The calendar opens to the current month
  • Navigation arrows: Move backward and forward through months
  • Today button: Jump back to the current date
  • Day cells: Each day shows whether you have a record

Daily Records Display

Days with records show:
  • “Registro Diarios” label: Indicates a daily record exists for that day
  • Clickable: Each record can be clicked to view details
  • Visual indicator: Easily spot which days you’ve tracked
Use the calendar to quickly identify gaps in your tracking. If you see several days without records, you might want to try to remember and backfill that data (if possible) or make note of periods when you weren’t tracking.

Understanding the Calendar Interface

Header Section

  • Title: “Calendario de registros” (Record Calendar)
  • Close button: X icon to exit the calendar and return to the main view
  • Toolbar: Contains month navigation and view controls

Calendar Grid

  • Week rows: Shows full weeks, including days from previous/next months
  • Day cells: Each day is clearly separated
  • Event entries: Your daily records appear as labeled entries in their respective days
  • Height optimization: Calendar is sized to fit comfortably in the modal (90% of available height)

Detail Modal

When viewing a record:
  • Overlay design: Appears on top of the calendar
  • Card layout: Information presented in a clean, organized card
  • Action buttons: Edit, delete, and close buttons clearly visible at the top
  • Structured data: Each metric clearly labeled with its value

Calendar Features

Automatic Updates

The calendar intelligently manages your data:
  • Auto-load: Fetches all your records when opened
  • User-scoped: Only shows records belonging to your user account
  • Date formatting: Automatically formats dates for proper display
  • Sorted display: Records appear chronologically

Event Properties

Each calendar event contains:
  • Unique ID: Ensures proper tracking and interaction
  • Date: The day the record represents
  • Extended properties: All wellness metrics stored for quick access
  • Title: Standard “Registro Diarios” label for consistency
The calendar uses extended properties to store all your wellness data without cluttering the visual display. This allows for a clean interface while maintaining quick access to details.

Using Calendar for Pattern Recognition

Weekly Patterns

Look for:
  • Consistency: Are you tracking regularly throughout the week?
  • Gaps: Which days do you tend to skip?
  • Streaks: How many consecutive days have you tracked?

Monthly Overview

Observe:
  • Tracking habits: Are some weeks better than others?
  • Seasonal changes: Do certain times of month show different patterns?
  • Progress: How has your tracking consistency improved over time?
If you notice you consistently skip weekends or specific days, set a reminder to track on those days. Consistent data across all days provides the most valuable insights.

Best Practices

1

Review Weekly

Open the calendar at least once a week to review your tracking consistency and spot any gaps.
2

Backfill Thoughtfully

If you missed a day and remember your state clearly, edit or create that record. But don’t guess—accurate data is more valuable than complete data.
3

Use with Statistics

Combine calendar review with statistics dashboard viewing for a complete picture of your wellness trends.
4

Note Special Days

When viewing records for particularly good or challenging days, take note of what made them special. This helps identify what works for your wellness.

Calendar Navigation Tips

Moving Through Time

  • Previous month: Click the left arrow in the calendar toolbar
  • Next month: Click the right arrow in the calendar toolbar
  • Today: Click the “Today” button to jump to current month
  • Specific month: Click the month/year title to access a date picker (if available)

Efficient Record Access

  • Recent records: Current month is shown by default, so recent records are immediately visible
  • Historical data: Navigate backwards to review your wellness journey
  • Future planning: While you can’t create future records, you can see upcoming days

Integration with Other Features

Daily Records

The calendar is the primary interface for:
