  • Your authentication is maintained across app restarts
  • You can be logged in on multiple devices simultaneously

Managing Your Sessions

You can manage your active sessions from the Login and Security settings:
  1. Go to ProfileSettingsLogin and Security
  2. Choose from the following options:
    • Logout from this device: Ends your session only on the current device
    • Logout from all devices: Ends all active sessions across all devices where you’re logged in
Logging out from all devices will require you to sign in again on every device where you use CricTalk.

Account Recovery

Download Your Data

CricTalk is working on a feature to let you download all your account data. This feature includes:
  • Your posts and comments
  • Room participation history
  • Account information
The data download feature is currently under development. You can access it from SettingsLogin and SecurityDownload Data, but it will show a “Coming Soon” message.

Troubleshooting

Login Failed

If you encounter login errors:
  • Verify your email address is correct
  • Check that your password is entered correctly (use the eye icon to view it)
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Make sure your account exists (try the signup flow if you’re a new user)

Validation Errors

The app validates your credentials before attempting to log in or sign up:
  • Invalid email format: Check that your email follows the standard format (e.g., [email protected])
  • Password required: Both email and password fields must be filled
  • Whitespace: Leading or trailing spaces are automatically trimmed
Error messages will appear as toast notifications at the top of the screen, showing you exactly what needs to be corrected.

Best Practices

Use a Strong Password

Choose a password that’s unique to CricTalk and not used on other platforms.

Keep Credentials Private

Never share your login credentials with anyone, even if they claim to be from CricTalk support.

Logout on Shared Devices

Always log out when using CricTalk on shared or public devices.

Regular Password Updates

Consider changing your password periodically for enhanced security.
