- Identify your permission level on each page
- Keep shared content organized separately from your own pages
Open a Shared Page
Click any page to open it. Your permission level (View or Edit) determines what actions you can take.
Work on Shared Content
If you have Edit permissions, you can collaborate in real-time with other editors. See Real-Time Editing for more details.
Inviting Guest Editors
Guest editors are external collaborators who can work on specific pages without being full workspace members. Learn more about Guest Editors.Best Practices
Use Can View for Stakeholders
Give read-only access to stakeholders who need visibility but shouldn’t make changes.
Review Access Regularly
Periodically audit who has access to sensitive pages and remove unnecessary permissions.
Start with Minimal Permissions
Grant Can View access first, then upgrade to Can Edit only when needed.
Use Guest Editors Wisely
Invite external collaborators as guest editors for specific projects rather than adding them as full members.
