Key Metrics

The dashboard displays four critical metrics that update in real-time:

Ventas Hoy

Today’s sales revenue with comparison to yesterday’s performance. Example: $8,450 with a 12% increase indicator.

Productos en Stock

Total product count in inventory: 1,284 units. Includes alerts for out-of-stock items.

Transacciones Hoy

Number of completed transactions: 47 sales with daily comparison metrics.

Ingresos del Mes

Monthly revenue summary: $124K with month-over-month percentage growth.
Each metric card includes trend indicators showing increases (▲) or decreases (▼) compared to the previous period, helping you quickly identify performance changes.

Low Stock Alert System

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find the critical inventory alert system:
Alert Example: “⚠️ Alerta de stock bajo: 3 productos tienen menos de 5 unidades.”This banner automatically appears when products fall below their minimum stock threshold. Click “Ver productos” to navigate directly to the inventory page and view affected items.

Sales Performance Chart

The Ventas últimos 7 días card displays a bar chart visualization (powered by Chart.js) showing your sales trend over the past week. This helps you:
  • Identify peak sales days
  • Spot unusual drops in revenue
  • Plan inventory restocking
  • Adjust staffing for high-traffic periods

Inventory by Category

A pie chart showing product distribution across categories:
  • Audio
  • Electrónica

  • Accesorios
This visualization helps you understand which product categories dominate your inventory.

The Productos más vendidos section ranks your best-selling items for the current month with progress bars indicating relative sales volume:

The Actividad Reciente panel shows the last 24 hours of system events with color-coded indicators:
  • Red dot: Sales transactions with ticket number, amount, and customer name
  • Blue dot: Inventory updates (stock additions or adjustments)
  • Green dot: New product additions
  • Orange dot: Low stock warnings
