Overview

StockPro’s inventory monitoring features help you maintain optimal stock levels, identify low-stock items, and organize products efficiently. The Inventario > Productos panel provides comprehensive visibility into your entire product catalog.

Viewing Inventory Status

Access the complete inventory overview by navigating to Inventario > Productos from the sidebar.

Inventory Panel Features

The main inventory panel displays:
  • Total product count (e.g., “Productos registrados: 1,284 en total”)
  • Comprehensive product table with key details
  • Real-time stock status badges
  • Quick action buttons for each product
  • Pagination for large inventories

Product Table Columns

The inventory table shows:

Understanding Stock Alerts

Stock Status Badges

Products are automatically categorized with color-coded badges:

🟢 En Stock (In Stock)

  • Color: Green badge
  • Meaning: Product has adequate inventory
  • Condition: Current stock is above minimum threshold
  • Example: Audífonos Bluetooth Pro - 42 units (minimum: 10)

🟠 Stock Bajo (Low Stock)

  • Color: Orange badge
  • Meaning: Product needs reordering soon
  • Condition: Current stock is below minimum threshold but not zero
  • Example: Cable USB-C 2m - 4 units (minimum: 15)
  • Display: Stock quantity appears in red text for emphasis

🔴 Sin Stock (Out of Stock)

  • Color: Red badge
  • Meaning: Product is completely unavailable
  • Condition: Current stock is 0 units
  • Example: Monitor 27” 144Hz - 0 units (minimum: 3)
  • Impact: Cannot be added to sales cart in POS system
Low stock items are highlighted with red text in the Stock column to draw immediate attention

Dashboard Stock Alerts

The main dashboard displays system-wide alerts: Alert Banner Example:
⚠️ Alerta de stock bajo: 3 productos tienen menos de 5 unidades.

This alert:
  • Appears at the top of the dashboard
  • Shows total count of low-stock products
  • Provides a direct link to view affected products
  • Updates in real-time as inventory changes

Filtering and Searching Products

The search bar provides multiple ways to find products:

Text Search

Type in the 🔍 Buscar por nombre, SKU o categoría… field to search:
  • Product names (e.g., “Audífonos”)
  • SKU codes (e.g., “AUD-001”)
  • Categories (e.g., “Audio”)

Filter by Category

Use the category dropdown to narrow results:
  • Todas las categorías (show all)
  • Electrónica
  • Accesorios
  • Periféricos
  • Audio

Filter by Stock Status

Select stock level filter:
  • Todo el stock: Show all products
  • En stock: Only products with adequate inventory
  • Stock bajo: Only products below minimum threshold
  • Sin stock: Only products with zero inventory

Quick Filter Workflows

Finding Items to Reorder

  1. Go to Inventario > Productos
  2. Select Stock bajo from the stock status filter
  3. Review all products below minimum levels
  4. Note quantities needed to reach minimum thresholds

Reviewing Category Inventory

  1. Select a specific category from the category dropdown
  2. Review all products in that category
  3. Check stock levels across similar items
  4. Identify category-specific trends

Locating Specific Products

  1. Type product name or SKU in search field
  2. Results filter in real-time
  3. Click ✏️ Editar to view or update details

Check Dashboard Alert

Review the alert banner: “⚠️ Alerta de stock bajo: [X] productos tienen menos de 5 unidades”

Navigate to Products

Click Ver productos in the alert or go to Inventario > Productos

Apply Low Stock Filter

Select Stock bajo from the stock status dropdown

Review Details

For each product, check:
  • Current stock (shown in red text)
  • Minimum threshold
  • Product details and SKU

Taking Action on Low Stock

When you identify low stock items:
  1. Calculate Reorder Quantity
    • Note the difference between current stock and minimum threshold
    • Consider maximum stock level if set
    • Factor in lead time and sales velocity
  2. Update Stock Levels
    • Click ✏️ Editar on the product
    • Update Cantidad Inicial field
    • Adjust minimum/maximum thresholds if needed
    • Save changes
  3. Place Orders with Suppliers
    • Use product details for ordering
    • Reference SKU codes
    • Track expected delivery dates
Consider adjusting minimum stock thresholds based on actual sales patterns to prevent frequent stockouts

Category-Based Monitoring

Available Categories

StockPro organizes inventory into these categories:
  • Audio: Headphones, speakers, audio accessories
  • Electrónica: Monitors, displays, electronic devices

If one category consistently shows low stock, consider adjusting reorder points or increasing par levels

Each product has action buttons:
  • ✏️ Editar: Opens product for editing
  • 🗑️: Deletes product from inventory

For catalogs with many products: Pagination Info
  • Shows current range: “Mostrando 1–6 de 1,284 productos”
  • Indicates total product count
  • Updates based on filters applied
