The post shows how Mintlify is already trusted by leading enterprises and introduces new enterprise features that help teams keep documentation accurate, secure, and scalable as AI traffic and revenue impact increase.
Mintlify is already powering documentation for some of the most high-impact companies in the world.
Teams at Anthropic, Coinbase, HubSpot, PayPal, Microsoft, Fidelity, and more rely on Mintlify to run documentation that sits directly in the path of revenue, product adoption, and now AI systems.
This launch introduces new enterprise-focused capabilities designed to help companies of all sizes use Mintlify to stay ahead as AI changes how documentation is consumed, without sacrificing compliance, control, or speed.
Enterprise teams are already using Mintlify at scale
Across our customer base, we see the same patterns:
- HubSpot replaced a custom documentation system and reclaimed significant engineering time, shifting focus back to product.
- Coinbase runs documentation for more than a dozen products for 120 million users.
- Fidelity relies on Mintlify for enterprise-grade reliability and compliance expectations.
- Anthropic works with Mintlify on AI-native standards like LLMs.txt and MCP to ensure documentation works seamlessly with AI systems.
These teams didn’t choose Mintlify because documentation is “nice to have.” They chose it because documentation is one of their critical surface areas for adoption, support, and revenue.
This launch introduces new capabilities like self-serve SSO, role-based access control, viewer roles, and improved security workflows to support the way large organizations already use Mintlify today.
Self-serve SSO configuration
Mintlify now supports self-serve SSO configuration using Okta and Microsoft Entra via SAML. Teams can set up and manage SSO directly from the dashboard without any back and forth emails.
This removes friction for security and IT teams, allowing documentation teams to move faster without waiting on access approvals.
Role-based access control (RBAC) and a new viewer role
As documentation and knowledge base usage grows inside an organization, access requirements become more nuanced.
Mintlify now supports full role-based access control for enterprise customers, along with a viewer role designed for sharing and collaboration. Viewer access lets teams share previews, review password-protected docs, and collaborate with stakeholders without requiring a paid seat or risking changes to production content.

Viewers can see analytics and leave comments, but cannot publish, edit content, or change configuration. This makes it easy to loop in reviewers, managers, and partners without adding cost or introducing accidental changes.
Dedicated security contact management
In the rare case of a security event, time is of the essence and getting to the right person fast matters.
Mintlify now includes a dedicated contact field in the dashboard so organizations can specify the right point of contact for security-related communication.
Improved authentication
As internal documentation and knowledge bases becomes a source of truth for larger teams, authentication is critical to ensure the right people see the right information.

Mintlify now unifies authentication, partial authentication, and personalization into a single, streamlined experience.
Other enterprise-ready capabilities
In addition to the updates in this launch, Mintlify already supports a set of features that matter to large, global teams.
Native support for MCP servers: This allows enterprises to make their documentation machine-readable and accessible to internal tools, assistants, and AI workflows. So documentation can act as knowledge infrastructure for your AI agents, not just static content.
AI-powered translations: Reach global audiences by automatically translating your docs into target audiences without duplicating effort or introducing drift.
Agent suggestions: Proactively documentation quality over time, by surfacing gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement directly in the authoring workflow, without requiring manual audits.
Built to scale without overhead
Enterprise adoption is accelerating because the role of documentation is changing.
Documentation now drives a meaningful portion of product-led growth and serves as an input to AI systems that answer questions, guide users, and automate workflows. Mintlify is built to support that reality, helping enterprises stay ahead as AI becomes a primary interface to their knowledge.
Mintlify for enterprise is not a pivot. It’s a continuation of how leading teams already use the platform, with deeper support for the scale, compliance, and AI-native workflows that modern enterprises require.
Looking ahead
These updates are part of a broader effort to make Mintlify the default documentation platform for modern enterprises. Secure by default, accessible where it matters, and customizable enough to help large organizations stay ahead.
If you are evaluating whether Mintlify is a fit for your enterprise team, know that we are dedicated to building for the enterprise as a core part of our roadmap.
